Knitted Beret Finished

About mid-December I started to knit a hat for Nora (Linda's baby). Its made by knitting shapes and then joining them together. It turned out pretty good, except that is is larger than I wanted it to be. The template and the instructions from the book that I was using didn't jive. I think this is true for lots of patterns. I had another book from the library, and even in my in-experienced knitting life, I knew that some of the patterns I was reading weren't altogether right. I decided to try another hat. I'm sort of following ideas from a pattern that I saw and my own thinking on what the size might turn out to be. We'll see how that goes.

Here is Pete modeling Nora's hat.
