Hello?

Well, I may or may not have internet now. Lots of gritty details of the last two weeks are on the Barrett blog. Things are going about as expected. We knew there would be some waiting - for cable, internet, our country CPR numbers. And even though its only been - oh - two and a half weeks, it seems longer.

Good new is the numbers for all of us came in the mail today. Now we can open a bank account and get the coveted Dansk card. This visa type card is used for almost every purchase. Groceries most importantly. But maybe even better than that, our garbage bins finally came. We've been in our house for two weeks now. For the first maybe 5 days, I had the bags in the house. Then we had fish, and the bags had to go. Since our development is so new, and we have no neighbors, I decided I'd just start filling up the vacant sheds until...well, until the bins came. Rich had reminded the rental guy at least twice that we needed these, and twice he said he'd work on it. I finally just asked Lone (our new Danish friend) to call them.

Well, one day later - I have garbage bins. Muchas Tak Lona.
