Our 1st Saturday in Denmark...

consisted of waiting in line next to our whining child (the adorable little angel is sleeping now).

Because we still have jet lag, we were all up for a few hours in the middle of the night. That led us to oversleep in the morning. The hotel let us eat a quick quick breakfast, before sending us on our way. Pete ate some sort of flake cereal - yippee!

We stopped at the house so that I could see what sort of items came from the "other" family. A GIANT couch, GIANT wardrobe, a GIANT carpet, just GIANT stuff, and LOTS of small tables...together with all the small tables I shipped - I guess we are going to be a house full of tables (except for a table to eat at - we don't have one of those).

We thought we'd go to IKEA and buy some blankets, towels...stuff so that we can live at the house. But it was such a madhouse, and Pete was not cooperating. We ended up just going to Bilka (basically WallMart with a zillion more people) to get some food for dinner (and a nice bottle of wine for mommy).

See, most of the stores will be closed tomorrow. Grocery stores will definitely be closed. So EVERYBODY is out and about. That's a bit too crazy for me right now, especially in our tired and nomadic state of mind. I'll have to use my unemployed status to shop at irregular times from now on.
