Thursday's dinner.

We picked up Rich from work last night and then headed into the city to my new favorite grocery store - Kvickly (or something like that). Its in the big mall, right next to Bilka (the store from hell). But unlike Bilka, we can use our credit card, park nice and close, and shop in non-chaos. I had a hankering for some homemade pizza, and I thought it would be fun for Pete to make his own. He topped his with sauce and cheese, and I tried to slip in tiny bits of seasoned ground pork. (They don't have sausage here. Not for breakfast, or spaghetti, or pizza. Even at restaurants. They might put ground beef on it, but its plain, no seasonings.)

I topped ours pizzas with sauce, seasoned meat, mushrooms, leeks, cheese, and snackpepper (these are long, skinny red peppers that are sweet). After cooking we topped it with spicy arugula. Very satisfying. Another bonus for the evening was eating at a table while sitting on chairs.
