If I was at home right now I'd be doing this - Silk green caps. I've found soy milk here that's pretty good, but honestly, Silk is the best. And this contest is right up my alley.
And I'd be buying one of these - a home energy use monitor. I'm not a gadget person, but I saw this sort of thing on a British show last night and I got all excited. I don't really care how much money my energy consumption is costing me - as a friend of mine would say...it is what it is. I just see it as a way to lower my impact on the environment. (For example, the monitor would likely show that recessed canister lights use LOTS of energy. Thereby prompting you to turn them off, or get efficient bulbs.)
But I'm not *at home*, instead I'm dreaming about giant, deli meat sandwiches and iced tea - really good iced tea - with ICE. Our freezer here has virtually no room for ice, and its not sold at the stores. Rich HAS to have ice in his water, and he prefers more ice than water. I bought some vodka and tonic the other day and when I got it home, only then did I remember our ice predicament. So I allowed myself 4 mini ice cubes. That doesn't make too bit a dent in the ice stash for me to have to make more.
And why did I buy vodka?? I'm not a vodka drinker. The problem was, it was a good brand at a good price. So I bought it. This may be one way I'm becoming a bit Danish-ish. They love a deal, and when one is presented, even though you wouldn't normally buy the thing, you do. Honestly, rather than cutting down on alcohol consumption I think it just makes it worse. Carloads of people driving to Germany every weekend to buy cheap booze. Car fulls of booze. I mean you'd have to be crazy not to buy it. That is what happened with me and the vodka.
