Monday was also the first time that I wished I knew more Danish. Except for the names of the animals, all the informational signs were in Danish. So, other than admiring what was on display, I couldn't really learn anything new.
I really liked how the aquarium building was set up too. There were large fish tanks on its outside edge, and you looked into the tanks from inside the building. Outside, the tanks were open, and you could walk along a boardwalk for a closer view of how these "waters" would look from the surface (our *normal* viewpoint).
The last thing we did at the aquarium was to follow a path through wooded, sphagnum wetland, to view a lake. I'd like to go back during the summer for a closer look at the plants when they are in their prime. It was so beautiful, a little part of me connected with DK that day.
