And at my regular grocery store I think I saw the 20 yr old prototype smart car. Its so small and cute I just want to stick a pacifier in its grill. It seems that all children in DK have a plug in their mouth. I think people prefer not to hear them, which is odd because they seem to be so pro kid. The allergist here was a bit surprised that Pete never used one (she was asking about latex allergies).
Girl Stuff Alert! - Skip to the end if your're a boy.
Here are my cute new boots for the winter. The first is a hiking-type boot by Ecco. To save some $$$ I tried to buy something similar in the US, but the soles were all so bulky. And then how was I supposed to pedal my bike? So I got these here for $220. That's a lot for me. In the past I've even bought steel-toed hiking boots for work and they didn't cost this much.
And another pair that was needed for... Well, I guess I need these because everyone else has some tall cute boots too. And its all about conformity here. So this second purchase is totally justified.
Other than that - we are just taking everyday one cold-and-rainy day at a time. A daily highlight for Pete and me is watching That 70's Show reruns while I make dinner. Last night I was watching an old rerun of friends - again. So sad. Which reminds me...BBC - what happened to you???? Some good shows for once - please. If it weren't for You Tube viewings of Project Runway and Top Design...I'd be completely comatose.
Oh yeah - and this. Not my words, but I wish they were..."If BS was currency, Sarah Palin could bail out Wall Street by herself."
