Prior to this week, I'd seen bits and pieces of Big Love and was not at all interested in the polygamist plot. But after a friend of mine said that her and her hubby love watching that show, I thought I'd give it a chance.
I have to admit that it is good. I'm not sure which season I'm watching and I might need to watch the first few episodes to be able to understand how they got to this point (three wives, too many kids, another on the way, some bad guy radical prophet threatening the main character). It'd be worth renting if you don't have HBO or cable. Man I miss Netflix.
We also started watching Top Chef Season 4, Chicago - Yeah baby! Rich and I love top chef. And when the actual season started I looked online for days trying to find a site where I could watch the show. Nada.
But last week a co-worker of Rich's said that she watched programs on a Chinese website. Rich dug around and found the site (You Ku), so now we'll be glued to the computer until the end of the season - about 15 more episodes.
But we still need to eat. I made a frittata a few nights ago. I was going to serve tomato with mozzarella on the side, but the mozzarella was a bit sour, so I threw the tomatoes on top and served aguacate on the site.
