What should we do today, that we didn't do yesteday

Pete and I have been spending our strike time out on the bike and trailer. We are trying out new routes, visiting new parks, and finding new grocery stores in the small neighborhoods we pass through.

These are not specialty stores, they are usually discount chains. One neighborhood not too far over is quite nice and has two of these discount chains, a Netto and an Aldi. I picked up some ahi tuna at a fairly nice price, and it was a nice change from the salmon. (I won't even expand on the sole I tried the other day - I'm not going to be making that again.)

Baby leaf salad with homemade vinaigrette, roasted potatoes, tomato relish, and tuna cooked in a bit of oyster sauce.

It seems like any of the discount chains here (Fakta, Lidl, Rema 1000, Netto...) usually reflect their neighborhood. If you're in a nice area, you get a nice version of the discount chain...a not so nice neighborhood - a not so nice version. Technically, I suppose the food they offer is the same, its just messier, busier, and all together less pleasant.
