Love that BBC

BBC here plays a show Rich and I used to watch on public TV in Iowa - Absolutely Fabulous. And it still is Ab Fab funny, vulgar, and politically incorrect. Its Jerry Seinfeld times 2 at the least.

But we also now get to watch French and Saunders. This is a new show for us, and its totally hilarious. I saw that you can watch their parodies on You Tube, but there is lots more to the show too. Love it!

I've also run across Europe's (or Brittan’s) equal to MTV's Jack-Ass. Its called Fist of Zen. And it is a bunch of nerdy looking guys, doing (what they think are) "funny" things in public places. But they never talk, they silently giggle like they are going to pee their pants 'cause its just soooo funny having that giant man take off his shirt and rub up against you in the library. Not really - But then again, I don't think Jack-Ass it that funny either. I'm too uptight.

But most disappointing...I got stuck on VH1 watching the worst video I've ever seen. What made it so very bad? It was a Prince video. I love Prince (the classic sex and swearing show-me-your buns Prince; the new LDS Prince just bums me out completely). The video was Sign O’ the Times, the cover song from one of his best albums EVER. And it was just like a super crappy power point presentation. For a strong song with a message, I would have expected more.

OMG - Prince would die if he knew you were calling him LDS - He's "born again", don't you know.

I don't know the difference really. Is it like comparing Lutherans and Catholics? All I know is, the music is not what it used to be.
