Go Gophers! Stocking Hat

I never thought I'd hear those words out of my mouth. I had originally bought maroon and gold yarn to knit up a Harry Potter scarf for Pete. Since that never materialized, I decided to try and knit a hat for Rich. Gopher colors seemed more than appropriate, and here it is. It fits Rich, but Pete makes for a cuter model.



This is the inside of my fridge. Light øko (organic) milk, whole milk, yogurt (comes in a milk type bottle, but it is NOT drinkable), and some German apple drink. In Germany the other weekend, I picked up what I thought was apple juice. Surprise! It turned out to be apple cider - we are happy with that and we'll be sure to pick up lots more next time we are there. How is it that you can cross an imaginary line and suddently beer, hot dogs, pickles, and even plain old juice gets better. And why can't that line be closer to my home.
