Just taking note

Posted around the zoo right now is a survey called - What kind of dog owner are you? Its a nice a idea, with little dioramas of owners and their dogs. This one is of a high class gal and her (of course) high class poodle.


What sticks out to me though is the cigarette in her hand. In the U.S. we just wouldn't add that feature to the picture. Just like we wouldn't let kids sip the last of the beer out of the can.

I know we are considered uptight Americans when we express these feelings (any comments expressing such are not necessary). But when you are not used to seeing these things, you take notice, and you can go either way.

A. Sure, no harm done.
B. Nah, not such a good idea.

Having been here for a little while, I still have not changed my mind from option B.
