To Bus Or ... you know the rest

Very little has been happening lately. My big decision of the day is - shall I take Peter to Legestue tomorrow. Its a big decision because my 30 day bus pass ended today. So paying per ride could cost anywhere from $8 to $16 depending on how I managed it all.

The Variables:

To get my pass renewed I need to go to the info booth at the mall. Since Rich is going to Copenhagen tomorrow I won't have access to the car, and the booth is not open after 5pm. So I can't do it tonight or tomorrow with the car.

I'd have to take Pete to Legestue prior to the mall opening. That means paying for 2 rides at 20 kronner each, that's 40 kronner or $8. If I managed the second ride in the "permitted transfer time" I'd only have to pay 20 kronner tops.

So then, once I'm at the mall, it would make no sense to then go home, only to turn around to go pick up Pete again. What a waste of a day, and I definitely don't want to hang out at the mall.

And finally, if I buy my new 30 day pass before next Monday or Tuesday, it won't hold me over until we leave for Christmas. So then I'd be going through this whole dilemma again next month.

My prediction - We'll probably just be chillin' at home tomorrow.

Rich says - Don't you just love public transportation.

But I argue that it'd be a different story if I could (or knew how) to renew online, or even if the info booth could be open a bit later than 5.
