Rich and I have been discussing how we would steam tamales - we don't have a steamer here and I wasn't going to buy one. But while cruising by the asian food market on the bus the other day I spotted bamboo steamers. I've been by this place weekly, and never noticed these things before. They also were pretty thrifty - I bought the large one for about $12.

I also got baby bock choy! They storekeeper said they hadn't had any in since July. It looks super fresh too. Can't wait to eat it tonight.
